The Parish Icon

Generally, in an icon one’s eye moves from the bottom (representing everyday life) to the top which represents the heavenly kingdom. Christ is the center of the entire image.  The image to the left is an icon of Our Lady of Solitude. The image to the right is an icon of St. Matthew, our parish patron.    -Kathy Sievers - Iconographer
