We are excited to inform you that our 2011 St Matthew Auction planning is well underway and we are looking forward to sharing a wonderful weekend with all of you!

Our auction is taking place in February 2011 so please mark your calendars for Friday, February 18th and Saturday, February 19 and plan on joining us for this much-anticipated event! Our theme this year is Mardi Gras, and we hear that some of you have already begun to gather items!

After some careful thought and consideration we have opted to move our Premium Silent & Oral Auctions off-site. We have been fortunate enough to secure the date at Nike’s Tiger Wood’s Center on the Nike Campus, which is still fairly close. Their facility is amazing, and we are confident that it will meet our needs. Our Friday night Auction will still be held at St. Matthew and we’re looking forward to a fun-filled night with something for everyone.  

While many of our Chair positions have already been filled, we’re still in need of volunteers to act as Chairs in the following areas: Friday Night Chair, Saturday Night Chair. We’re willing to work very closely with both of these positions to ensure that no one person shoulders all the burden. We have a fun team with lots of enthusiasm, and we’d love to have you join us!

Not able to Chair this year? Not to worry as we can use help in lots of important areas. Do you have a great auction item or idea?    We’d love to hear from you! 

So, talk to your friends, secure a babysitter and mark your calendars for February 18th and 19th and plan on being a part of our auction’s success!  

Estamos muy contentos de informarles que la planificación de nuestra Subasta 2011 está marchando y estamos ansiosos de compartir un fin de semana maravilloso con todos Uds.

Nuestra subasta se llevara a cabo en Febrero este año, así que marquen sus calendarios para el Viernes, Febrero 18 y el Sábado, Febrero 19 y acompañemos en este tan esperado evento!!! Nuestro tema este año es ―Martes de Carnaval‖ y nos enteramos que algunos de Uds. ya están juntando artículos!

Después de cuidadosamente pensarlo y considerarlo hemos optado por mover la porción nuestra subasta silenciosa a otro lugar. Hemos tenido la fortuna de apartar el ―Nike’s Tiger Wood’s Center. Este local no está muy lejos de nuestra parroquia. Las instalaciones son extraordinarias y tenemos plena confianza que llenara todas nuestras expectativas.  Nuestra subasta el viernes seguirá siendo en San Mateo y esperamos con entusiasmo el tener una noche de diversión con algo para todos.

Aunque muchas de las posiciones voluntarias ya están llenas, todavía necesitamos voluntarios que se encarguen de las siguientes áreas: Encargado del Viernes en la Noche, Encargado del Sábado en la Noche. Estamos dispuestos a trabajar muy de cerca con los que tomen estas dos áreas para que nadie sienta que carga todo el peso. Tenemos un equipo muy divertido con mucho entusiasmo and nos encantaría que se unan a nuestro trabajo!

No pueden encargarse de una sección este año? No se apure, que necesitamos su ayuda en muchas otras áreas. Tienes una maravillosa idea o articulo para la subasta? Nos encantaría saber de ti!
