St. Matthew Parish is a Catholic community centered in Jesus Christ, our Priest, Prophet, and King. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, we continue Christ's evangelizing mission. We are nourished by the Word of God, the Eucharist and the other Sacraments, and prayer; We faithfully nurture the spiritual formation of all, educating the mind and inspiring the heart; We unite our multicultural community by sharing our diverse gifts and spiritual heritage; We strengthen our community through our ministries and volunteer work; We recognize Christ's presence in each person, caring for all God's children with compassion and unconditional love; treating all with dignity and working for social justice. As we grow in faith together, we seek to discern and to remain open to change in a way that builds on the teachings of Christ, Catholic Tradition, and our love for each other.

La Parroquia de San Mateo es una comunidad católica centrada en Jesucristo Sacerdote, Profeta y Rey. Inspirados por el Espíritu Santo, continuamos la Misión Evangelizadora de Cristo. Somos alimentados por la Palabra de Dios, la Eucaristía, los demás sacramentos y la oración; Nutrimos la formación cristiana de todos, educando el entendimiento e inspirando el corazón; Unimos las diversas culturas de nuestra comunidad compartiendo nuestros dones y nuestra herencia espiritual; Fortalecemos nuestra comunidad mediante nuestros ministerios y trabajo voluntario; Reconocemos la presencia de Cristo en cada persona, interesándonos por todos los hijos de Dios con compasión y amor incondicional; tratando a todos con dignidad y trabajando por implantar la justicia social.
