I was raised Catholic and my First Communion was a major event in my life. It is still is a strong memory for me and the Eucharist continues to influence my life.
I married my high school sweetheart, Nick, in 1979 and we have been blessed with 4 children and 1 grandchild. We have been a part of St Matthew’s community since 1988. Our children have attended St Matthew School, as well as public schools. Our grandson is currently attending St Matthew School. We have experienced this community as a parishioner, a school parent, a volunteer and as an employee.
I have been very blessed in my life. I strive to learn more about my own faith and spirituality and desire to continue to grow my relationship with God. I feel that it is important to share this with others. Working at St Matthew affords me this opportunity. I am now working in Marriage & Family Ministry while still volunteering in Youth Ministry. I really enjoy people and it is a pleasure to me to be able to help couples thru the process of being married in the Church and what that means. Weddings can be such a stressful time, but it is so important that we remember this is not just about the one day, but a lifelong commitment between a couple and God. There are so many people that contribute to helping in this process and it is my joy to work with all of them. It is just another way to share our love of God. Thank you for letting me be a part of this process and St Matthew’s community.
