Confirmation is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation. In Baptism, we are born into new life in Christ and as a member of God’s family. In Confirmation, the graces we receive in Baptism are perfected. Where Baptism is birth into God’s family, Confirmation is a maturing in God’s family. Confirmation strengthens our participation in the life of The Church and prepares us for being effective witnesses of Jesus Christ in the World.
Confirmation is the Sacrament of Evangelization and Martyrdom. Through this Sacrament, we are set apart as living sacrifices, strengthened and transformed by the Holy Spirit to face the rejection and persecution that will confront us in our mission to witness the Gospel.
To learn more about this Sacrament and prepare your heart for the graces it offers, join us for our weekly meetings of formation. May the Holy Spirit be your guide.
