The Knights of Columbus (K of C) is a global Catholic fraternal service order founded by Blessed Michael J. McGivney on March 29, 1882.
The organization was founded in March 1882 as a mutual benefit society for working-class and immigrant Catholics in the United States. It has grown to support refugee relief, Catholic education, local parishes and dioceses, and global Catholic social and political causes.
The Hillsboro Council was founded in 1912. The Hillsboro Council works closely with six Parishes in the Hillsboro, Cornelius, and Forest Grove area of Washington County, Oregon, providing funds for various projects in the surrounding communities. In addition, members are active participants in their local parishes. For more information on the Parishes we serve, click on the following link: Parish Information.
